Welcome to World Relief’s Hoops of Hope

World Relief’s Hoops of Hope is an easy, fun event for participants of all ages. It’s especially great for teens and youth who love basketball! Everyone wants to do something to help those who are hurting – and Hoops of Hope is an opportunity for members of your church to raise $25, $50 or more in donations that will make a real and lasting difference.

Plus, basketball is great exercise, and Hoops of Hope is a healthy way to bring your church together.

What’s the big deal about hope?
Disasters. Poverty. Hunger. Disease. War. Persecution. Many people in our world have no hope. To lose hope is to lose all appetite for life. With your support, World Relief brings hope back into the lives of those who’ve lost everything.

How do we bring hope?
World Relief works with local churches and communities in the world’s poorest and neediest regions. Our HEART ministries encompass Health, Education, Agriculture, Refuge and Trade. Together, we reach the most isolated peoples, respond to the most desperate situations, invest in those no one else does, and transform lives in Jesus’ name.

What about hope “at home”?
In our own communities here in the U.S., many people live without hope. World Relief is committed to helping churches bring hope to some of America’s most marginalized – including refugees and immigrants. Hoops of Hope provides the opportunity for your church to be a light in your community – by donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit a local homeless shelter, soup kitchen or other local ministry that your church amy already be supporting.
